How To Set 5mm Margins In Canva
Welcome to our step-by-step guide, on how to set 5 millimetre margins in Canva.
1. Go to file in the top left corner. Click on view settings, then show rulers and guides. These 2 rulers will pop up at the top, and left of your design page. These will be used to create our margin guide.
2. Setting up the left and top margin. Go to the ruler guide on the left side, click inside the ruler, keeping your mouse button held down, and drag into your canvas. This purple line should appear. Now drag your line to 5, this will be indicated by the number at the top of your purple line. To set up your top margin we will repeat the same process. This time using the top ruler, dragging the margin guide to 5.
3. Setting up your right and bottom margin line. To set up your right margin, we will need to deduct 5mm from the width of your page. For example if your finished size was 210, you will need to drag your margin line to 205mm, from the left ruler. To set up your bottom margin, deduct 5mm from the length of your page. You have now set up a 5mm margin for your Canva canvas.
