Top Tips:

When placing your order for magazines and newsletters with Prontaprint, there are a few key tips to ensure you get the best results:

  • High-Resolution Artwork:
Always provide high-resolution images and graphics to ensure your magazine or newsletter is crisp and visually appealing (300dpi or more). Low-resolution files can lead to blurry prints.
  • Page Layout:
Make sure to follow proper layout guidelines for magazines, including bleed, margins, and page count. Prontaprint's team is available to offer guidance if you're unsure.
  • Proofread Your Content:
Before submitting your file for printing, thoroughly review and proofread your content to avoid any last-minute changes or costly reprints.
  • Choose the Right Binding:
For thicker publications, perfect binding provides a sleek, book-like finish, while saddle-stitching works well for smaller page counts.
  • Bulk Orders:
Consider ordering in bulk. Larger quantities can reduce the overall cost per unit and ensure you have enough copies for distribution.
  • Paper Selection:
Think about the look and feel of your publication. A glossy paper finish offers a vibrant, upscale look, while matt or uncoated paper provides a more subdued, professional feel.
  • Consider your publication weight and size:
If you are planning to mail out your magazines or newsletters, keeping your publication at A5 size and under 100gsm will keep you within the most cost-effective postage bracket.
