Our NCR books are fully customisable to match your exact requirements. Here are the standard options available:
- 2-Part (Duplicate)
- 3-Part (Triplicate)
- 4-Part (Quadruplicate)
All top, middle and bottom sheets are available in – White / Yellow / Pink / Blue and Green paper. White is commonly used as the top sheet, but we can produce white as the middle or bottom copy if required.
Pad Size:
Most common sizes are:
- White Matt Paper
- A6 = 105mm x 148mm
- A5 = 148mm x 210mm
- A4 = 210mm x 297mm We can produce custom sizes if required.
Single or double sided, although for the pad to work you can only write on the front. Usually, any double sided printing has company T&Cs on the reverse.
Binding:
Stapled and spine taped for durability. Only the pages you want to remove are perforated, ensuring you don't lose any loose sheets you need to keep. We would recommend binding on the top edge, so it is easy to write for both left and right handed people.
Numbering:
Optional sequential numbering for easy tracking and referencing.
Finishing:
Select a card cover for extra protection. All books are finished with a sturdy board back. We can also pre-drill 2 or 4 holes for easy filing.

- Leave a binding margin:
You will need to allow for a minimum of 30mm margin on the binding edge for the spine and perforation. - Choose the right part sets:
2-part pads are ideal for general duplicates; 3-part and 4-part are great when more copies are needed. - Include numbering:
Sequential numbering is especially helpful for invoicing, job tracking or delivery confirmations. - Opt for colour coding:
Using different paper colours makes it easier to distinguish between original and duplicate copies. - Use a wraparound shield or writing sheet:
This keeps your pads tidy and prevents unwanted carbon transfer to other sheets. - Design professionally:
Include your company logo, contact details, and any required legal information or terms and conditions. We can print on both sides if you require the additional space.
